Portugal Strengthens Social Protection for Vulnerable Groups in New PSU Version
The Portuguese government has finalized a new version of the Universal Social Provision (PSU) decree-law, effective December 31, which consolidates 13 social benefits into one. The updated law reinforces protection for orphans, victims of violence, and the unemployed, while reinstating a 12-month minimum residency period.
