Excavation Seeks Remains of Japanese Soldiers from WWII Shipwreck

An excavation is underway to find the remains of Japanese soldiers linked to a military transport ship shipwreck that resulted in over 4,700 deaths, with approximately 42,000 Japanese soldiers having died on the island.
