‘I put the family home into my wife’s name to get agricultural relief, but now we are separating and she says I have no entitlement to the house. Is this true?’

Query: Dear Mary Frances, I hope you can help me. A number of years ago I was being left some land and the advice I got at the time was that to qualify for agricultural relief, I should put the family home into my wife’s name alone.
