Negros Clash Kills Rebel Leader, Displaces Hundreds

An encounter between the Philippine Army and New People's Army (NPA) rebels in Negros Occidental resulted in the death of a rebel leader and over ten others. The clash also forced more than 600 residents to evacuate their homes.
