IMF Approves Power Subsidies for Pakistan with Conditions

The International Monetary Fund has sanctioned Rs830 billion in power subsidies for Pakistan, including Rs300 billion for theft and bill recovery, but stipulated a condition to raise tariffs by January 2027.
