Japan's House of Representatives Passes Bill to Establish National Intelligence Agency
A bill to establish a "National Intelligence Agency" to strengthen the government's intelligence functions has passed the House of Representatives plenary session with majority support from both ruling and opposition parties and has been sent to the House of Councillors, where it is expected to pass.
