Has BYU’s recent slide lost the Cougars their national ranking?

For the first time all season, BYU finds itself outside of the AP Top 25 poll. Following a pair of losses to unranked UCF and West Virginia this past week, the Cougars tumbled down to the first spot outside of Monday’s latest rankings with 74 total points from voters. BYU opened the year at No. 8 in the preseason rankings and had remained in the top 25 every week since then.
