Latvian Folk Dance Ensemble "Liesma" Celebrates 80th Anniversary

The "Liesma" folk dance ensemble is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year and preparing for a concert to mark the 90th birthday of its founder and long-time leader, Imants Magone. A festive prelude concert has already been performed at the VEF Culture Palace.

Tautas deju ansamblis "Liesma" šogad svin savu 80 gadu jubileju, kā arī gatavojas ansambļa veidotāja un ilggadējā vadītāja Imanta Magones 90. jubilejas koncertam. VEF Kultūras pilī jau izdejots svētku ieskaņas koncertiestudējums "Viļņošanās".
