Australian Company to Begin Commercial Production and Import of Samarium to Japan

As Japan seeks to reduce its reliance on China for rare earth procurement, an Australian company has successfully achieved commercial production of Samarium, a rare earth used in aircraft parts, and will soon import it to Japan through a major trading company.
