Marcos announces expanded maternity benefits under PhilHealth

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday announced expanded maternity benefits under Philippine Health Insurance Corporation starting April 30. From P9,750, the PhilHealth coverage for normal delivery will be P29,000. The coverage for those who will give birth via caesarean section, meanwhile, will increase from P37,000 to P58,000. /apl
