CHED proposes reframed general education curriculum with unit cuts

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the Philippines has proposed a controversial reframed general education curriculum, which includes a significant cut in general education units to 18. Pilot testing for this proposal is targeted for the academic year 2026-2027.
