Japanese Parties Propose Stricter Procedures for Lethal Weapon Exports
Centrist Reform Alliance, the Constitutional Democratic Party, and Komeito have proposed stricter procedures for the overseas transfer of defense equipment, including requiring cabinet approval for lethal weapons, in response to a government plan to abolish '5 categories' of exports.
