Cyanobacteria Overgrowth Threatens Fish in Nové Mlýny Reservoir
An excessive proliferation of cyanobacteria has turned parts of the Dyje river in the Břeclav region into a brownish-green sludge, posing a serious threat of fish mortality in the Nové Mlýny reservoir. Water managers are deploying barriers to contain the algal bloom.
