Icelandic Supreme Court Overturns Lower Court Ruling in Seaman's Death Case
The Supreme Court of Iceland has overturned a Landsréttur (Court of Appeal) ruling that had upheld a Reykjavík District Court decision acquitting a shipping company and TM insurance in a compensation case involving a deceased seaman. The case has been referred back to Landsréttur for further legal processing.
