Irish Rail's Scrapped €50M IT Project Under Investigation

Oireachtas committees are set to investigate the cost overruns and eventual scrapping of a €50 million IT system for Ireland's rail network, once dubbed the 'brain of the railway.' The project, which faced initial testing problems, could incur additional costs of up to €800,000 per month.
