EU Eases Budget Rules in Response to Energy Shock from Iran War

The European Commission will allow member states to increase spending by up to 0.3% of their GDP annually, with a total limit of 0.6% until 2028, to relax budgetary rules in response to the energy crisis caused by the 'War in Iran'.
