Earthquakes Strike Miyagi and Aomori Prefectures in Japan

Earthquakes struck parts of Japan, with a magnitude 5 lower tremor reported in northern and central Miyagi Prefecture. A separate magnitude 3 earthquake was also recorded in Nishimeya Village, Aomori, with authorities confirming no tsunami risk from either event.
