Rescue Effort Underway for Stranded Whale in Germany

A private team has launched a rescue operation for Timmy, a whale stranded on a sand dune in Kirchsee, Germany, for nineteen days, despite initial expert advice against it. This is described as the first rescue of its kind globally.
