Nissan and Uber Announce Collaboration in Autonomous Taxi Field

Nissan Motor has announced a collaboration with American ride-hailing giant Uber in the field of autonomous taxis. Nissan will supply AI-powered autonomous vehicles, with test operations starting in Tokyo later this year and a future plan to expand driverless ride-hailing services globally.
