New Barcelos Wastewater Treatment Plant to Cost €37.5 Million
The municipality of Barcelos, Portugal, plans to launch a public tender this year for a new wastewater treatment plant, estimated to cost €37.5 million and be completed by late 2028. The plant will treat domestic and industrial wastewater, primarily from the textile sector, before returning clean water to the Cávado River.
