Philippines Faces Widespread Dangerous Heat Index
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued warnings for dangerous heat index levels, expected to reach up to 47°C in numerous areas across the country over several days. At least 14 areas were projected to experience "danger" level heat indices.

MANILA, Philippines — Dangerous heat indices gripped fourteen areas on Sunday, according to the state weather bureau.
