Latvia to Draft Diaspora Youth for National Defense Service Next Year
Starting next year, Latvia will begin conscripting Latvian citizens living abroad into its national defense service. While an estimated 1,000 young people in the UK alone could meet the requirements, interest from the diaspora has been low so far.
