Bengaluru: PT teacher booked after 12-yr-old allegedly beaten to death with iron rod

A physical education trainer was booked for allegedly beating a 12-year-old student to death. The boy's father alleged the trainer used an iron rod, causing his son's death. School authorities initially informed the father the boy had fallen ill and collapsed. Parents protested at the school after learning the boy was allegedly beaten. Police are awaiting postmortem reports and collecting CCTV footage for investigation.
