Peregrine Falcons Hatch Four Chicks at Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant

Critically endangered peregrine falcons have successfully raised four new chicks at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant in the Czech Republic, bringing the total number of chicks hatched there to 18.

Celkem čtyři mláďata vyvedli sokoli stěhovaví, kteří hnízdí v Jaderné elektrárně Dukovany. Kriticky ohrožení dravci se usadili na jednom z ventilačních komínů. Podle ornitologů jsou všechna mláďata ve velmi dobré kondici a rodiče o ně pečují odpovídajícím způsobem.
