Biathlete Vítězslav Hornig, after an illness, finished sixteenth in the mass start event at the World Cup in Kontiolahti with a clean shot.

Biatlonista Vítězslav Hornig po nemoci skončil s čistou střelbou šestnáctý v závodě s hromadným startem na Světovém poháru v Kontiolahti. Druhý český reprezentant Michal Krčmář udělal na střelnici čtyři chyby a obsadil 24. místo. Zvítězil Nor Sturla Holm Laegreid. Malý křišťálový glóbus za triumf v této disciplíně si s předstihem zajistil druhý Francouz Éric Perrot.
