Grand Sumo Spring Tournament: Yokozuna Daieisho to Withdraw Starting Today
Yokozuna Daieisho has decided to withdraw from the Grand Sumo Spring Tournament starting on the 11th, the fourth day of the tournament. In this tournament, Daieisho's characteristic power and attacks from the left have been subdued, and he has struggled, marking his first three consecutive losses from the opening day. This is Daieisho's second withdrawal, the first being in the Kyushu Tournament last November when he injured his left shoulder and missed the final day.
