NASA Selects Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin for Initial Lunar Base Development

NASA has contracted Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin to begin building its lunar base, with the first of three planned robotic missions by private companies, led by Blue Origin, scheduled for fall 2026.
