Niš City Assembly Bans Mining and Geological Exploration in Protected Areas

The City Assembly of Niš, Serbia, unanimously adopted a declaration banning all geological exploration, excavation, and mining in water source protection zones and protected natural and cultural-historical areas within the Niš region.
