Czech Region Drops Claim Against Agrofert Over Babiš Conflict of Interest Subsidy

A long-running dispute over a tractor subsidy for an agricultural school, which the Ministry for Regional Development refused to pay due to Andrej Babiš's conflict of interest, has concluded with the Moravian-Silesian Region deciding not to seek the money back from Agrofert.

Letitý spor o dotaci na traktor pro zemědělskou školu, kterou ministerstvo pro místní rozvoj neproplatilo kvůli střetu zájmů Andreje Babiše (ANO), končí. Moravskoslezský kraj se po zamítnutí stížnosti Nejvyšším správním soudem rozhodl, že nebude zkoušet vymáhat po dceřince Agrofertu, která traktor dodala, peníze zpět. Resort ještě pod vedením Ivana Bartoše (Piráti) stopl před třemi lety dotace za více než 43 milionů především školám a obcím.
