Special counsel seeks 23-year sentence for ex-Prime Minister in insurrection appeal
A special counsel team on Tuesday sought a 23-year prison term for former Prime Minister Han Duck-soo in an appeal of his insurrection case stemming from former President Yoon Suk Yeol's failed martial law bid. In requesting the sentence at the Seoul High Court, special counsel Cho Eun-suk's team matched the 23-year term handed down by a lower court in January.
