Iran using cluster bomb warheads in ongoing conflict: Israel military

Iran has reportedly deployed ballistic missiles armed with cluster bomb warheads against Israel, scattering numerous small explosives over wide areas. This tactic, confirmed by the IDF, significantly increases the risk of civilian casualties and infrastructure damage. Unexploded submunitions pose a lingering threat, acting like landmines. Several countries, including India, have not signed the international ban on these weapons.
