India Plans Subsea Pipeline from Oman for Gas Security Amid Hormuz Crisis

Amidst the Hormuz crisis, India is proposing a 2,000-kilometer Middle East-India Deep-water Pipeline (MEIDP) to run beneath the Arabian Sea, connecting Oman directly with the Gujarat coastline. This project aims to secure uninterrupted gas supplies for India.
