Japan to Strengthen Seed and Seedling Export Regulations
Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries plans to revise the Seed and Seedling Law to strengthen regulations, allowing export bans even before variety registration, to prevent unauthorized overseas transfer of Japanese-developed plant varieties.
