Young man falls into Venice canal, drowns

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 5 - A young man aged about 20 is dead after falling into a canal in Venice's central Sestiere di San Polo district along with two other people overnight. The two survivors, both Polish nationals, were rescued by a boat that has passing by, but the victim, for reasons that have yet to be established, did not come up to the surface after the fall.
