Former Ranji Trophy winner Sulakshan Kulkarni named Oman's new head coach
Former Mumbai wicketkeeper Sulakshan Kulkarni has been appointed head coach of Oman’s men’s cricket team, replacing Duleep Mendis, who becomes Chief Development Officer after 14 years in charge. Kulkarni, previously Oman’s deputy coach during the 2026 T20 World Cup, aims to guide the team toward 50-over World Cup qualification. He brings extensive domestic coaching experience, including leading Mumbai to a Ranji Trophy title.
