Magen David Adom Launches New Mental Health Emergency Response Unit

Magen David Adom, Israel's national emergency medical service, has announced the creation of a new mental health emergency response unit. This system will transfer mental health-related calls to specially trained dispatchers for evaluation, rather than standard medical teams.
