Portuguese Parliament Speaker Blocks Referral of Health Minister's Statements to Prosecutor
The President of the Portuguese Assembly of the Republic, Aguiar-Branco, has blocked the referral of statements made by the Minister of Health to the Public Prosecutor's Office, stating there are no 'facts susceptible to justify an institutional participation of the Assembly,' though parties can still act individually. The Chega party protested this decision.
