New Species of Blue Octopus Discovered Near Galapagos Islands
Scientists have discovered a new and extremely rare species of blue octopus, named Microeledone galapagensis, near the Galapagos Islands. The golf-ball sized octopus was found at a depth of approximately 1,800 meters below the Pacific Ocean surface.
