Swedish Government Strengthens Rule of Law and Judicial Independence

The Swedish government has proposed measures to strengthen the independence of courts, as part of what is described as the most comprehensive reform package for the rule of law in decades. This initiative is supported by the Moderate, Christian Democrat, and Liberal parties.
