Serbia Has Highest Mortality Rate in Europe Despite High Healthcare Spending
A non-governmental organization reports that Serbia's general mortality rate of 14.8 per mille is the highest in Europe, despite the country spending a significant 11% of its GDP, or nearly eight billion, on healthcare.
