Swiss Cantons Introduce Nationwide Pyrotechnic Ban in Public Spaces

Following the Crans-Montana fire disaster, Swiss cantons are delaying new fire protection regulations to 2027 but are implementing an immediate ban on sparklers in public spaces starting April 1.

Noch dieses Jahr hätten die neuen Schweizer Brandschutzvorschriften in Kraft treten sollen. Wegen der Brandkatastrophe von Crans-Montana wird der Zeitpunkt auf 2027 verschoben. Als Sofortmassnahme gilt ab 1. April ein Verbot für Sprühkerzen.
