Pope sacks Chaldean bishop of San Diego after arrest for money laundering
(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 10 - Pope Leo XIV on Tuesday sacked the Chaldean bishop of San Diego after his arrest on suspicion of money laundering. The Chaldean bishop of the Eparchy of Saint Peter the Apostle of San Diego of the Chaldeans in the United States, Msgr. Emanuel Hana Shaleta, has been dismissed, Vatican sources said.
