Timber Shortage Impacts Portuguese Pine Industry
The Portuguese pine industry is suffering from a timber shortage, exacerbated by the aftermath of storm Kristin and previous fires in 2015 and 2017. João Gonçalves, president of Centro Pinus, estimates it will take a year to manage the fallen trees.
