Lai arī žoga izbūve nu jau pabeigta gan uz Latvijas-Baltkrievijas, gan Latvijas-Krievijas robežas, Valsts prezidents vēlas raitāku robežas aprīkošanu ar sensoriem un novērošanas tehnoloģijām.
