Moldovan President Sandu Intervenes in Gagauzia Election Crisis

Gagauzia has been without new elections for its People's Assembly for six months, with attempts to set a voting date repeatedly failing in courts. President Maia Sandu has now personally engaged in the protracted crisis, meeting with autonomy deputies and mayors.
