Iceland Sees Decline in Alcohol Sales; Gull Lite Remains Most Popular

Alcohol sales in Iceland decreased by 5.6% in liters last year, with a 4.4% drop in customer numbers, according to ÁTVR's annual report, while Gull Lite remained the most popular brand.

Sala á áfengi dróst saman um 5,6% í lítrum talið í Vínbúðunum í fyrra. Viðskiptavinum fækkaði um 4,4% á milli ára og voru þeir 4,8 milljónir talsins. Þetta kemur fram í nýútkominni ársskýrslu ÁTVR fyrir árið 2025.
