Portuguese union criticizes slow placement of doctors amid severe shortage

A Portuguese medical union has expressed dismay over the slow placement of doctors, stating it's incomprehensible given the country's severe shortage of family doctors. Only 273 doctors were placed out of 711 available positions, making the SNS unattractive.
