Mount Everest Sees Record Climber Numbers and Fatalities
Mount Everest experienced a record number of climbers reaching its summit on a single day, including the youngest Irish person and the first woman from Assam, India, to do so. However, the climbing season also saw at least two fatalities and warnings about the dangers of overcrowding on the mountain.
