Tokyo Mountain Festival Marks Arrival of Spring

The Hinode Sai, or Sunrise Festival, is being celebrated high above Tokyo on Mount Mitake to mark the arrival of spring. The festival is believed to have originated from wandering ascetics seeking enlightenment.
