Mountain Shelters Not for Tourism, Rescue Service Warns
The Slovenian Mountain Rescue Association has warned that mountain shelters are intended for refuge, not as tourist accommodation, ahead of the season. Last year, they responded to 660 incidents, close to the 2023 record of 687 calls, with an increasing trend this year.
